- Comments: "*Rare but now regular. Continuing adult buried deep in the willows just upstream from the wooden bridge here: (35.137034, -120.638793). Overall slim grayish Night Heron with mostly black head, yellow cheek, dirty yellowish crown, deep orange iris, and thick bulbous bill, etc. Bad photos tba."

- Comments: "*Expected. Two on the east side and 1-2 more on the west side. Dusky olive Orange-crowned with large bills, greener supralorals, variably greener upper and paler lower eye arcs, “large-headed” appearance, diffusely streaked breast, “vested” appearance, and slightly brighter undertail coverts extensively streaked olive. All birds heard giving lower-pitched metallic chip call of this subspecies/type. Photos and recording tba, see media notes for additional comments."

- Comments: "*Expected. One with small flock at the entrance to the beach trail/amphitheater area here: (35.130608, -120.636607). Dusky olive Orange-crowned with large bill, greener supraloral, variably greener upper and paler lower eye arcs, “large-headed” appearance, diffusely streaked breast, “vested” appearance, and slightly brighter undertail coverts extensively streaked olive. Very active small warbler with long tail, which it often fanned. Mostly pale gray overall with pale olive back. Yellow base of tail and sides of breast. Thought I could see yellow on secondaries, but was very flitty. Gave a few clear, high chip calls. No pics."
