I had my first one ever in 33 years at my place in Hayden a couple weeks ago. SOOOO noisy!!! Only stayed a couple minutes. Very cool.
Also had a glimpse of what I believe to be a Harris Sparrow a week ago.

Hi Terry,
A friend and fellow Palouse Audubon member had a Blue Jay at her home in the town of Palouse early this morning (the 6th), first one she'd ever seen there in many years of residence. Maybe this will be a good winter for spotting them!
