10/7 Milford, Connecticut Audubon Coastal Center. 10am-1PM sunny, high
tide-receding, 60-65F.
I was greeted by a juvenile Yellow crowned night heron in the parking lot
as I drove in this morning. The marsh water was like glass- very calm ,
with several Ring billed gulls flying over.
Many visitors to the center today, enjoying our critters and the views.
On the grounds: 1 Tufted titmouse, 1 Ruby crowned kinglet, 1 Mockingbird, 1
Catbird, 1 Red bellied woodpecker ;and at the fountain- 2 Robins, 4 Yellow
rumped warblers, 5 House sparrows, 3 House finches, 1 Song sparrow.
