I visited this area Sept 30 Oct 1 and Oct 3 and 4
The Warbler and Vireo activity decreased while the Seed-eating Songbirds increased
Bluebirds-saw them Flocking up to Migrate while having a Feeding Frenzy in a Honey Locus
I had 11 Warblers on the 30th, 10 on Oct 1st,
9 on Oct 3rd and 5 on Oct 4th
On the 4th I had Songbirds everywhere-Kinglets, Thrushes, Sparrows, and many others I also saw more BHVI that day than I have ever seen in one day
Killdeer Flocking up-A Behavior I have seen where they Group up in the parking lot A few appear to be Dancing They take there turn Dancing then Fly away South
Blackbirds- In the Woods-Hundreds-Favorite food-Poison Ivy Berries
Bald Eagle-As I’m about to leave Delaware St Pk-I look up and see an Adult BAEA circling
It is probably a Great Grandchild of a pair of BAEA I monitored years ago in Delaware Wildlife Area
The BAEA has made a Amazing comeback in the state of Ohio as well as other States They breed in every County in Ohio
