Good evening, AR Birders!
Please consider joining us to volunteer at the Birding Festival of the South this Thursday October 8th - Saturday October 10th. We need a handful of volunteers to help run a booth where festival attendees can stop by to learn about the Little Rock Audubon Center, the Arkansas Bird Alliance (formerly, the Arkansas Audubon Society), and the Audubon Society of Central Arkansas. We encourage members of the latter societies to come share information about these groups, but membership is not required to volunteer. We will have handouts for guests that share info about these groups and their programs. If you volunteer with us, we will have two passes available for volunteers who work the table; you must leave your passes at the table for the next shift though. Please see volunteer shifts below, and if you're interested, respond to me off-list to sign up. I will send more information to volunteers later.
