I was surprised to spot a Broad-billed Hummingbird outside my kitchen
window in Bay Park this afternoon. It’s a young male, with some nice
iridescent feathers starting to come in on the throat.
I put out a few hummingbird feeders along the front of the house and in the
driveway, and he seems to be visiting regularly, about every half hour or
so. He appears to favor the feeder and tree in the driveway.
