The Williamson’s Sapsucker, first reported by Ryan yesterday afternoon, continued at Bella Vista Park this morning. It spent most of its time working on sap wells in a conifer near the northwest corner of the park next to the playground (at approx. 34.438529, -119.884108). It made a brief visit to a tree at approx. 34.438817, -119.883777 (just west of the footpath from Mirano Dr), where it gave much better views, perching lower in the tree and in full light.
