*Endemic Birds of the US and Canada - Alvaro Jaramillo*
When birders travel abroad, they are always interested in seeing the “endemic” birds. These are birds that cannot be found elsewhere; they are special to the country or region visited. Even if you are not a world lister, endemics are appealing as they are birds that are specialized to a small sector of the world in many cases. They are sometimes also threatened or endangered. What I find fascinating is that most birders in the US have not asked the question, “What are the endemics of the US?” How about the specialties in Canada? This talk covers these endemics and gives viewers an idea of which birds are truly special in the ABA birding area. Which ones can't be found anywhere else on Earth? *REGISTER:* https://bit.ly/4rtV9IN
