Observation start time: 08:00:00
Observation end time: 17:30:00
Total observation time: 9 hours

Official Counter: Andre Vu

Observers: Guitar Dave , Lucie Demadille

Visitors:
4 visitors today. Joined in the evening by Hawk Mountain trainee Lucy
Demadille, here all the way from the southern coast of France, as well as
Guitar Dave, who, true to his namesake, had a lot of interesting knowledge
to share about music history. Thanks Dave for picking up more great birds
90 min after I left.

Weather:
58-64 degrees F, partly cloudy, northwest wind with gusts up to 20. Foggy
until 9 am local time.

Raptor Observations:
Bald eagle (15): 0857i, 0945a, 0947i, 0953a, 0953i, 0953i, 1015i, 1053a,
1053a, 1503i, 1517i, 1523a, 1612a, 1621a, 1715i

Golden eagle (1): 1621a

A great day with a little bit of everything! Along with the gusting wind,
nearly constant sharpie attacks kept the owl decoy's head on a swivel.
Watching 2 harriers kettle together was probably my favorite sighting of
the day. Guitar Dave was the only one who saw the golden eagle - his reward
for staying a little extra.

Non-raptor Observations:
Tree swallows and blue jays continue to trickle through, but not in
especially huge numbers today. Some warbler flyovers, and I believe a
sparrow flight call that I couldn't place as well.

Predictions:
Sunny, with a high near 62. Northwest wind 5 to 10 mph.
