Weather: Strong west-northwest winds throughout the day at 5-20 mph. Cleared early morning fog and clouds becoming clear by the end of the afternoon.
Raptor Observations: Phenomenal flight that started at just after sunrise and finished close to sunset. The first three golden eagles of the season passed to our north with an immature giving a particularly close look while four bald eagles interacted. Fantastic sharp-shinned hawk and American kestrel flight.
Non-raptor Observations: canada geese, chimney swift, red-headed woodpecker, red-bellied woodpecker, eastern phoebe, blue jays, common raven (34), tree swallow, red-breasted nuthatch, American robin, cape May warbler(36), Tennessee, bt blue, bt green yellow-rumped and blackpoll warbler, song sparrow, dark-eyed junco PINE Siskin, American goldfinch, RUSTY BLACKBIRD.
