Good evening, AR Birders!
Myself, Audubon Center staff, and volunteers would like to extend an invitation for you all to join us Wednesday mornings this month (weather pending) for our bird banding operations at the Little Rock Audubon Center! We are opening our bird banding research operations in Gillam Park to interested members of the public *each Wednesday in October from 8 AM - 10 AM*. Our first public session will be this Wednesday October 7th. These mornings, we will demonstrate the bird banding process to our visitors, tell you about our research, and show you some of the amazing birds passing through or coming to winter in Arkansas. Bird banding is weather dependent, so extreme temperatures and precipitation may cause us to cancel some mornings.
