Subject: [CT Birds] Canada Geese
I know these are common birds, but to see the Canada geese gathering on the Connecticut river is spectacular. There’s close to 200 right now, about 40 Mallards, Gulls, Heron and Cormorants visible from the window.
Having lived by water most of my life in New England, it’s been a harbinger of fall when families start to gather in groups and larger flocks. Just beautiful.
