Blue Jay (Cyanocitta cristata) was seen yesterday in Arroyo Hondo, Taos
County. Seen by a friend who has lived in the East & has been birding
for over a decade. Familiar species to her, and not at all a difficult
ID. Came to her feeders. Two years of drought have kept the wild food
supply limited. It's migration season, so it may not be around that
exact location any more.
