Visitors:
Representing Massachusetts Audubon Society's Arcadia Wildlife Sanctuary,
Patti Steinman and Dan Russell led a group of six birders interested in
learning more about hawks and hawkwatching. The members of the group
spotted several birds, including today's only Northern Harrier.

Raptor Observations:
The weather conditions being what they were, few raptors moved through. Not
counted as migrants: 3 Turkey Vultures, 2 immature Bald Eagles, Cooper's
Hawk, 2 Red-shouldered Hawks.

Non-raptor Observations:
Northern Flicker, Pileated Woodpecker, Blue Jays (18 migrants), American
Crows (2), Common Raven, Tufted Titmouse, American Robin, Purple Finch,
American Goldfinches (2), Chipping Sparrow, Field Sparrow, Palm Warblers
