Raptor Observations: A couple kettles of Turkey Vultures boosted today's count to over 100 birds. The first bird was a kestrel flying through the fog shortly after 9am. There were several close birds today, including some beautiful adult sharpies, Cooper's Hawks, and Red-shouldered Hawks. Two peregrines flying along over North Pack during 3 o'clock were the last birds of the day.

A bunny made an appearance at the birdseed, and a katydid perched on rocks near the platform. Yesterday, a katydid made friends with Gina, sitting between her ears and chatting for some time.
