Weather: Overcast with frequent mist and drizzle. Moderate northeast winds that weakened late.
Raptor Observations: A small number of raptors pushed through the gloomy weather. Accips were most numerous with 8 sharpies and 5 Coops. Four Ospreys. The only falcons were three kestrels. Two Turkey Vultures and one Bald Eagle.
New species for season: Savannah Sparrow, Golden-crowned Kinglet
Predictions: TOMORROW: Areas of patchy fog early. Some morning clouds then mainly sunny. High around 70F. Winds NW at 10-20mph. Good winds so it should be a decent flight once the wind picks up. Spotting may be difficult if we lose the clouds. Expect moderate to good migration.
TUESDAY: Mainly sunny. High 64F. Winds NW at 5-10mph. Expect moderate migration.
