Yes! we have had them intermittently year round at our feeders a couple miles east on 20! We’ve lived here 6 years. I’ve heard them more than seen them the past few weeks. They prefer the tubular feeder with holes on the sides which I imagine is similar to reaching the bill into a conifer cone. They are not skiddish at all and very curious. We have several elevated water baths that they also frequent. In the past ( years ago) we recorded and used Spectograms to id their flight calls as Type 2 but haven’t recorded them recently. I didn't know crossbills visited feeders but just read on Cornell that
they occasionally do. I live out Hwy 20 near Jackson State, so being
near the conifers, including pines and dougfir, made it more likely to
see them at my feeder.
