Subject: [SanDiegoRegionBirding] Cabrillo NM Blackburnian and Magnolia Warblers
Julietta and I had a nice Blackburnian Warbler late this afternoon in the pines past the upper lighthouse at Cabrillo NM about five minutes before the park closed:

We also had a Magnolia Warbler in the euc east of the entrance booth. We talked to a ranger who told us she actually saw the Maggie this morning inside the entrance booth, which she caught and released!

(32.6777632, -117.2431349)

Jason’s Ovenbird was chipping away at his previously posted pin under the eucs at the cemetery.

Cheers,

Chris Hinkle

The monthly meetings of San Diego Field Ornithologists (SDFO) are currently virtual, open only to members, at 6pm on the third Tuesday of every month.

Two notable on-line resources are available for San Diego birders: the San Diego County Bird Atlas by Phil Unitt (2004) - http://sdplantatlas.org/BirdAtlas/BirdPages.aspx ; and an update of notable records for San Diego County (2002–present), compiled by Paul Lehman - https://sandiegofieldornithologists.org/san-diego-county-avian-records-database/.
