The station had some visitors this week from three elementary schools who got to see some very busy banding days! The one new species banded this week was a White-winged Junco, and another exciting catch were three Evening Grosbeaks captured this morning! After closing the nets three to four more unbanded Evening Grosbeaks show up at the feeders. Lastly, a Sharp-shinned Hawk managed to get caught in the nets but was unbanded.
