Weather:
Blue skies until noon; partly cloudy (cumulus) in the afternoon. Wind 1-8
mph; NNE until 1 PM EDT, then shifted to NE, ENE, and E. Temperature 62-68
F. A pleasant day.

Raptor Observations:
Once again, non-migrants outnumbered migrants. Two first-of-the season
Peregrines circled achingly high, and looked almost small enough to
resemble swifts. Not counted as migrants: 4 Turkey Vultures, 2 Bald Eagles
(adult + age unknown), Cooper's Hawk, 3 Red-shouldered Hawks.
Non-raptor Observations:
Bird of the Day -- nay, bird of the entire season so far: juvenile
WHITE-CROWNED SPARROW. Rock Pigeons (6,incl. one all-white bird), Northern
Flicker, Blue Jays (120 migrants), American Crows (2), Common Raven,
Black-capped Chickadees (4), Tufted Titmouse, Ruby-crowned Kinglet,
American Goldfinch, Savannah Sparrow, Song Sparrow. Palm Warblers (2),
Yellow-rumped Warblers (5). Spotted Lanternflies: 2.
