Visitors: Group of 8 Amish from Ohio overlooking Big Valley and Furgeson Valley on their way to Benezette to see the elk. Nice guy from State College with his 2 sons. Barry and Cathy Stine from York. They will be attending a wedding in Huntingdon tomorrow. Really nice couple. We had a good chat. They were revisiting the Altar the second time together. He had visited with his family as a kid. I gave them a patch. They bought two cash raffle tickets from me. I hope they win.
Weather: Warm with mostly light variable winds ending west at the end of the watch. Partly cloudy to start with complete cloud cover from 11:00 on. Rain showers started at 2:50. I was packed and ready to go by then.
Raptor Observations: 2 Adult BE's at 1:02. Many TV's. One local Red-tail.
Non-raptor Observations: Several Ravens, 5 in one group. No Nemo.
