At Mission Creek outflow onto the beach, the Red Knot seen earlier by Alex Castelein was still present. Also, at least 47 Black Skimmers.
At Andree Clark Bird Refuge, most birds, and all the ducks, were at the spit near the western viewing platform. Here there were 3 Dunlin and 4 Spotted Sandpipers. The birds near the western platform are best seen from the middle platform by scope. Has there been an exodus of Mallards recently?
