Observers:
Visitors: An older Amish couple and their driver from NE Ohio, near Lake Erie. They were headed to Lancaster for business. They claimed they did not have any relatives from our area but enjoyed the overlook.
Weather: Completely overcast to start the morning with very light winds but comfortable temperatures. Wind died for an hour and returned with little more than a slight breeze.
Raptor Observations: First bird of the day was a local Redtail at 9:11. Turkey Vultures did not appear until well after 10:00.
Non-raptor Observations: The usual, no ravens though. Insects were more than plentiful. They were quite annoying until I left the mountain for an appointment I couldn't reschedule.
