There's a juvenile plumaged Sabine's Gull at the San Gabriel Coastal Spreading Grounds in Pico Rivera. It was at the north end of the south pond (south of Mines) then flew south to land with all the other gulls at the south end.
Also a Western Cattle-Egret in the same area and a lingering Hooded Oriole along the neighborhood edge near the south end of the south pond.
Conditions look great with shallow water and lots of mud.
