I recommended Patricia (it’s her company) at Patu Peru Tours without checking if it was easy to find information. I couldn’t. So today I contacted her on WhatsApp and had some long “conversations”. We (4 of us) were there in 2018. COVID had a really large negative effect on the travel industry in Peru. But, she survived and still is in the travel business. She mostly works by word of mouth and designs custom tours.
We traveled with friends mostly for birding, but obviously couldn’t miss traveling to Machu Picchu. We did go birding there, and at a couple of sites in the Cusco area. Patricia also arranged 2 days of travel to see Lima and a day birding on the coast. We spent 9 days on the Manu portion. We had 4 different birding guides and identified 423 species.
