Hi, all!
We had another great week here at the GVAS banding station in Grand Junction. Thank you especially to everyone who came out for our Public Banding Day on Sept 26. Here are the totals for the week:
The highlight of this week was definitely the Grasshopper Sparrow, which we banded at 7:10 on Monday, Sept 21. This was the first Grasshopper Sparrow ever banded at this station, and it enjoyed quite a lot of attention and paparazzi photos.
