Weather: Partly cloudy becoming mostly cloudy and eventually overcast. Light northwesterly winds. Warm.
Raptor Observations: A moderate flight. Sharp-shinned Hawks were most numerous with 28. Thirteen Turkey Vultures. Small numbers of other expected migrants including six Bald Eagles and six Red-shouldered Hawks. Two kestrels. One broad-wing.
Decent raptor activity overall. The sky was good for spotting, but the weak winds didn't seem to get a lot of raptors moving despite being the first day after several days of poor weather. Activity slowed in the final hours as the sky clouded over.
Non-raptor Observations: 77 Canada Geese, 7 Common Nighthawks, Ruby-throated Hummingbird, Great Blue Heron, 8 Northern Flickers, 100 Blue Jays, 2 Common Ravens, 20 Eastern Bluebirds, Cape May Warbler, 19+ species of butterfly including AMERICAN SNOUT, 15 monarchs. https://ebird.org/checklist/S397561957
