This morning at the Nob Hill Pond in Redwood Shores, there was a male Eurasian Wigeon in eclipse plumage. Maybe a returning one? Arrival last fall on the pond wasSeptember 10th. Yesterday, Leonie and I noted a Common Tern among Forster's Terns on the bay mudflats off the mouth of Colma Creek in South San Francisco.
