I spent the morning birdwatching on Munhall Saddle joined by Don H., Steve N., and Edana S.
The clear highlight was a single calling female type EVENING GROSBEAK that appeared in the pines at 8:30am, bounced around for about a minute, and then departed southwards over the saddle. I think Edana got recordings of it.
A small trickle of Pine Siskins, a few clearly southbound migrant Purple Finches, plus a couple of Red-breasted Nuthatches working the pines were the only other noteworthy items.
