Can I add one more thing: a specific word of Caution about Race Point in Provincetown? You can get trapped there at high tide so watch carefully and maybe in this case wait for te tide to turn out. This summer people tried to wade/ swim across the outlet from Hatches Harbor and were caught in a rip tide. Very sadly, one person did not make it. Unless, of course, you have an overland permit and can drive out there …
