I birded the pines agin this morning before doing my shopping. It was even quieter than my last visit, but I did find the Mountain Chickadee I'd seen previously. It is still hanging out in the pines and adjacent cypress grove along Ortega Ridge Lane. Red-breasted Nuthatches continue in several places.
An unexpected sighting was an Osprey flying up from below and over the ridge toward the mountains.
