Hi all,
This morning around 11:50 AM, I saw a large bird flying into a conifer tree at the west end of Penitencia Creek Trail (37°23'30.2"N, 121°50'22.0"W). It turned out to be a Bald Eagle when I saw its white tail.
It perched there for a while, then flew toward the east side of the trail and later continued north. When I was about to leave, it appeared again, flying toward the pond. It then flew back north, circling around a large eucalyptus tree beyond the neighborhood.
Do not disclose information that identifies the location of nesting birds of any species, to minimize stress on the nesting birds and the risk of vandalism or abuse.
