The ponds are finally reopened again after being closed for several years. The water is slowly filling the pond. Unfortunately many of the trees were taken out by the company that pulled gravel out of the pond area.
The ponds are on Hwy 20/26, Parma exit (exit 26) off I84. The bridge over the freeway (exit 26) has been damaged so the easiest way to get to Hwy 20/26 is go to exit 25. You can either backtrack to exit 26 (ramps are open) or go across the freeway and down the hill to Farmeay Road. Turn left and then turn right onto Hwy 20/26.
