We checked out a couple of parks in Mira Mesa this morning.
Lopez Ridge Park was fairly quiet with Red-breasted Nuthatch being the only bird of note.
Christa McAuliffe Park/Winterwood Lane Park was active with a Virginia's Warbler high in the eucalyptus trees near the small entrance bridge on the east side. A female-type American Redstart was along the fence line at the northern border of the park in a mix of Brazilian Pepper and Bougainvillea. Red-breasted Nuthatch was also present here.
