Weather: Moderate to strong northeasterly winds, sometimes shifting more northerly. Mostly cloudy becoming mostly sunny then back to mostly cloudy. Temps starting in the low 50s and reaching the low 70s.
Raptor Observations: Another steady flight dominated by Sharp-shinned Hawks (44) and American Kestrels (26), with many streaming high overhead. A decent push of migrating Turkey Vultures. Small numbers of other expected species including eight Broad-winged Hawks. Black Vulture "247" was seen for the first time this season.
Predictions: TOMORROW: Periods of rain. High 61F. Winds N at 15-25mph. A good wind direction but overly strong. The current hourly forecast looks like a high chance of rain for much of the count period. Might be some migration, but I wouldn't expect a big day. Perhaps a chance of an unusual sighting due to the storm. Count may be shortened.
SUNDAY: Rain likely. Winds NNW at 15-25mph. Chance of rain 90%. Count may be shortened or canceled.
MONDAY: Showers in the morning then cloudy. High near 65F. Winds NNW at 5-10mph.
