I found a Hermit Warbler at Penitencia Creek Trail yesterday and it was present again today. At least one Black-throated Gray Warbler was along the creek as well.
Location today: 37.391969,-121.836830
Location yesterday: 37.392700,-121.835938
The Hermit certainly has a preference for conifers, but I also had it in oaks and other trees.
Do not disclose information that identifies the location of nesting birds of any species, to minimize stress on the nesting birds and the risk of vandalism or abuse.
