I arrived at the roost early tonight and was able to count every incoming egret. Staying until sunset resulted in my highest count yet for both species, with 357 Great Egrets and 156 Snowy Egrets. I am sure plenty more came in as it got dark, as I had some flying in while leaving. I encourage everyone to go see it before they take off for the season!
