All, For anyone who might be who might be interested, an informal Rare Bird Round Up will happen this Saturday, Sept 26th, 2026.
The goal is for birders to spread out across the City and see what can be found rarity wise and report their findings. There are no assigned locations.
Some of the participants are then meeting up at Battery Godfrey at 12.30 PM to do a countdown. All are welcome. Parking can be challenging at Battery Godfrey and so we might suggest parking over at Fort Scott or across from Battery Godfrey.
We would ask that sightings are posted to sfbirds or Ebird.
A final list will be developed from all the sightings from the day and a summary of the day will be issued,
