Fast moving, rarely perching very small flycatcher with overall gray tones and two wingbars. Rounded head with small bill; long primary feather projections. Pale around the eye."

- Comments: "High flying bird. strong direct flight over a pine filled canyon. I got good looks of the bird with my binoculars as it was flying fast away from me. But by the time I got my camera up, the bird was in a steep dive with wings tucked and it appeared to enter a stand of trees across the canyon. Bird was smaller than a crow, larger than a stellers jay. Gray underside with white undertail coverts and tail. I also clearly saw the white secondary patches on black wings. bird was silent as it flew across the canyon. it was unmistakably a Clark's Nutcracker with the overall shape, pattern of colors. long dark bill and short tail. bird appeared to dive down into the trees downhill and to the east of the black Butte repeater station. But by the time I got over there and searched around, I did not see the bird anywhere. I waited around for about a half hour. And then I left the area."

Very dull large-billed OCWAs with greener upper and paler lower eye arcs, large-headed, faint hooded, and vested appearance, streaked breast, and extensively olive-streaked undertail coverts. Both giving thick metallic junco-like chip calls and one singing musical slower-paced and incomplete-sounding trilled song typical of this subspecies/phenotype. Photos"

- Comments: "(LIFER) While sitting on my back deck watching the many birds that visit the feeder and birdbaths I heard a warbler chip I didn’t recognize. Fortunately I grabbed my camera instead of my binoculars or I wouldn’t have gotten photos. Overall dull gray with light yellow patch on the breast and slightly brighter yellow on the undertail coverts, along with a thin white eyering. No green in the wings which would eliminate a Nashville. Photos"
