More Southerly winds overnight and today. More Wilson's Warblers were in the area but most did not want to receive a band. Hoping for a northerly wind to assist the birds south and get some to drop into the olive grove. A Great-crested Flycatcher called several times in the Olive grove near the banding station. When the nets were closed it called more to the southwest of the olive grove. *25 New Banded Birds* Wilson's Warbler- 5 Orange-crowned Warbler- 2 Common Yellowthroat- 1 American Goldfinch- 3 House Finch- 2 Lincoln's Sparrow- 1 Gambel's White-crowned Sparrow- 5 Mountain White-Crowned Sparrow- 2 Spotted Towhee-1 Blue Grosbeak- 1 Hammond's Flycatcher-1 Swainson's Thrush- 1
*3 Recaptures- banded this season* Swainson's Thrush- 2 Gray Catbird
