After 2-3 days of misty weather, we finally have a sunny morning with northly winds and cool temperatures (mid/50sF).
Birdcast.info reported > 3M birds passed over Adair County last night.
This morning things have been very active in our yard. We had a bunch come through at 7:15am and now periodically, we’ll get a few or a small group.
So far I’ve been able to identify:
Magnolia Warbler
Black-throated Green Warbler, several very brightly-colored males
Nashville Warbler
Bay-breasted Warbler
Chestnut-sided Warbler
Blue-headed Vireo
Rose-breasted Grosbeak, both male & female immature
Might be a good time to visit your favorite spot.
