Here in rainy Hopewell Township, western Muskingum County, there were two non-adult-male ruby-throated hummingbirds still zipping around the feeders and the salvia last evening.
They have been dwindling of late, but a few persist, or perhaps drop in on our rural experiment on their southward journey.
