Weather: Rain and fog in morning, cleared after 9:00. Overcast for the rest of the day with a light drizzle between 1400-1500. SE winds between 6-38 km/hr.
Raptor Observations: Distant/scope kettles of broadwings on the north and south sides at the same time. Between 900-1600 over 2,900 broadwings flew by. 835 between 1200-1300! Late day juvenile Peregrine falcon zipped past the counters pit to dive on the owl pole. It circled back around 2x before dropping down in the woods in front of the lookout. Adult Bald Eagle flew overhead while snacking on a fish in its talons (fortunately there were no fish gut showers).
Non-raptor Observations: Canada geese and blue jays starting to flock up. Close to 400 swallows zipping around the sky.
Predictions: Cloudy, then gradually becoming mostly sunny, with a high near 66.
