A flock of about 30 nutcrackers landed in a few trees, but then continued eastward down the slope into Santa Anita Canyon towards Sturtevant camp.
Two evening grosbeaks were calling to each other, and I was able to get a recording I believe this is the same bird that has been calling up here for many weeks, but I could never see it or identify it.
