Hi birders, Just before lunch, went down to Aptos Creek Mouth for a purportedly "short" look at the terns on the beach. The hope was to see a parasitic jaeger for the season. Dipped on the jaeger, (probably too late in the day), but there were hundreds (700+?) ELEGANT TERNS resting on the beach. Among the many ELEGANTS, was also a FORSTER'S TERN and a COMMON TERN.
