Weather: Cold, windy, and overcast, just the way I like it. When I arrived there was a slight drizzle near the parking lot, but no precipitation on the platform. Weather pretty much stayed consistent throughout the day.
Raptor Observations: Very slow morning into the afternoon. Had a small kettle of BWHAs right before noon. Started to think about packing it up, but right around a quarter after 1pm the BWHAs started making there way along the ridge. From there it was a pretty consistent flow of birds until the rain started at a quarter after 3pm.
Non-migrating Raptors: Black Vulture, Turkey Vultures, and Bald Eagle.
Non-raptor Observations: Non-raptor species: Geese, Chimney swifts, Pileated Woodpecker, Flickers, Philly Vireo, Red-eyed Vireo, Blue Jays (many with acorns in mouth), Crows, Ravens, Chickadees, Almost 100 Tree Swallows, Cliff Swallow, WB Nuthatch, Robin, Waxwings, Goldfinches, Juncos, Towhee. Warblers: Tennessee, Cape May, Blackpoll, Yellow-rumped, BT Green.
