This coming Saturday, September 26, the Mascoma Chapter of NH Audubon will host a birding outing at Bedell Covered Bridge State Historic Site in Haverhill, NH.
We'll gather in the parking area at the site's boat launch at 7:30am. The walk will be hosted by members of the Mascoma Chapter's steering committee. All levels of birding experience are welcome. The terrain is level facilitating easy walking. Bring binoculars or a scope as you prefer.
The site offers a variety of habitats including wetlands, agricultural fields and riverine forest woodlands. Past walks have produced sightings of migrating warblers, rusty blackbirds and waterfowl to name a few.
