While looking for the Yellow-green Vireo this morning (9/21/26), I found a Blue-headed Vireo in the euks near Laurens Bench. I will try and upload photos when I can them off my camera.
I wanted to add that I don’t have much experience with Blue-headed Vireo as I’ve only seen one other individual, many years ago. So, perhaps my claim is a bit premature. But, I’ve sent some photos to the experts and will see what they have to say.
Also, I found a hat that was obviously that of a birders, it had a hand sewn patch from Shearwater Journey’s and one other from a National Park I don’t recall.
i hung it from a gate latch on the back of the Park Bench Cafe right near the parking lot.
