After reading about the Sept. 20 white faced ibis late in the afternoon,
took my chances on Sept. 21 in the morning.
Driving slowly toward the dirt parking lot saw nothing, but after
getting out of the car, soon 2 */White-faced ibis /*flew by and landed
nearby.
Drove back South and found 3 of them feeding next to the road. A truck
drove by and they flew toward the middle of the marsh and within a few
minutes they were gone.
Do not disclose information that identifies the location of nesting birds of any species, to minimize stress on the nesting birds and the risk of vandalism or abuse.
