The City will begin construction this fall to rehabilitate the East Levee access roads at the Water Pollution Control Plant. Construction is expected to conclude in early 2027. Improvements include slope repairs, widening the access roads and removal of overgrown vegetation. The pond levee roads will be closed on weekdays from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Access to the San Francisco Bay Trail will remain open, but visitors should use caution due to anticipated construction traffic. Construction flaggers will be on hand during the weekday hours to help direct pedestrians to the trail detour route. For more information, email Public Works or call 408-730-7605
